Recent Airtel advertisement, a couple working in the same office has created serious buzz all over the working class , Is in it?. I personally like the ad very much, but the question is: Is it really practical in everyone’s life?
Yes, of course. Even in villages , where we claim gender inequality (not true though), I have seen many couple successfully run a small shop to medium scale business together, themselves. Then why can't a modern man & woman work in the same organization together?
On a mutual understanding, couple working in the same department is definitely possible. But not sure, if any company in the world, allows direct reporting between spouses in the office (Woman/Man as the Boss to their spouse), that part is li’l exaggerated !
It’s all depend on your mental Strength and your maturity to handle the situation. From my point of view, it’s not a so bad idea to work together, you just need some smartness to tackle the small-small situations and circumstances. If you are so, then it’s more enjoyable.
The Ad is brilliantly scripted and directed, but somehow, the guy’s face reaction at the last shot makes me to think that he's planning to leave either his wife or his job on the next day :P .
Do you also feel the same :)

You must be a bachelor, trying to bracket your hot chick boss. No married man would accept what you say. This ad gives totally a wrong message.
The Boss wife Airtel Ad is the latest example of 'trying too hard to look cool while riding on feminism'. Total fail.
It's OK boss
please let me know the name of the BOSS-WIFE !!
I so wish one could get home cooked meals daily. By hook or by cook !!!!!!!!! This advt. promotes home cooked which is good.....of course it gets a little typical when the wife speaks about herself(the boss) in the third person..but I really would love to have a spouse who has the energy to cook after reaching home at 8 pm
Tum s*le logo ko aur koi news ek page waste kiya, yaar please understand what is economic and try to reel out the news according, duniya me kitne acche acche news hey about economy and u guys thuu...
The ad sucks like airtel network. My wife does not cook breakfast on busy days, she just makes me do it and rushes to her office early. On dinners we usually bring food from takeouts, on busy days. India is changing airtel so does your network is a sick bad high tarriffed one.
Poor guy having same boss at office n home... can't even make false excuses :P
I found the ad - hypocritical or ironic. One one hand the boss/wife tells the dude to work and then later tells him to excuse himself before his wife/boss. Wonder what would happen the next day.... Would the guy tell his boss my wife called up and said not to work :P, would she accept it? That makes her a poor decision maker. deny it? that makes her a liar!. If you notice it was only the husband/employee stressed about this and working. Its probably coz he had no choice either he works in office ..
@Supreeth : I am not writing for a national news paper to think and write on Economy and only on other useful stuffs. It's my personal blog, and i just register my thoughts, whatever I feel. Sorry, my post had hurt you, you seem to have such a bad personal experience :)
Anyway, thanks for reading my blog.
@sagar: I wish, but am not a bachelor :). I have seen a few couple working together in same office at same department successfully. Based on that only I wrote.
What's OK boss? Ck,
Which boss wife you're asking Surya ? Sorry I do t know the name of the model acted in the ad :)
Sammy, the woman cooked not because she's a wife. She cooked because she came early to home. There's no rule that wife only has to cook .
I never meant that arundati . See this is called as feminism, or female Chauvinism
@ ranga: such a long comment. You can make your comment alone as a separate post :)
Thank you all for stopping by my blog. You guys have already made this post a super hit!!!. Man&Woman relationship issues never get settled, right :)
Should have been an ad for Dual Sim. Wife & Boss. Calls from same phone. Diff sim cards. Tagline- split the personality not the sim "Airtel" :)
